Alice, you know, your descriptors never actually described me, but I got to say today, I'm a little

tongue-tod because it is very unusual that we get to ask questions of a judge, and I really

don't know how to handle this.

This almost never happens to us.

And we are not the ones in trouble for once.

But you all are in for an incredible treat.

You don't want to hear us talk.

You want to hear two of our most distinguished guests to have graced the legal briefs.

And they are former Chief Judge Belvin Perry Jr. and also Amy Mitchell.

Now, you're going to know their names because Chief Judge Perry, he's known for an incredibly

storied career that we're going to get to hear about sometime today. You may know his name

from presiding over the Casey Anthony trial, and he has

graced this all with his storytelling by putting a lot of the capital murder cases and the memoir

of his incredible career into a new book called The Velvet Hammer, which he has co-authored

with attorney Amy Mitchell, and both Amy and Chief Judge Perry are here with us today.
