It's the morning show that no one knows I know what it's talking about. I said no one. It's talking about. But if they did, they'd probably say. It's the best way to start today with Rachel and Dave.

Wednesday! Welcome to Wednesday! Welcome to the first Wednesday of the rest of your life.

0:28.0

That is today. That is today. We're five minutes late. We're right on time. We're right on time. For this 10,000th episode of our free show, there is no time.

0:42.0

Time is a construct. Time is a construct that does not even exist any longer. How do I understand how microphones work? It's the first Wednesday of the rest of your life. I get excited.

My throat has been weird this morning. My throat has been weird this morning. I every morning, the first thing I do when I wake up in the morning, I go in, I take my allergy pill because we live in allergy country. And then I take a little squirt, just a tiny squirt of some like echinacea. What's it called? It's called kick immunity.

1:21.0

Kick immunity. I recommend I've been taking it for years. It's great. I take it every single day. It's great every single day. Today, because the devil is trying to get me. You were aggressive. I know you.

1:35.0

Here's the thing. I like to do eight squirts. I don't do six. I do 10. I do eight. Eight squirts. I did eight squirts of my kick immunity. And instead of going into my throat hole, went into my breathing hole.

That's a bummer. Went down the wrong pipe. That's a bummer. I don't know if you've ever seen those like cinnamon challenges where someone like tries to eat a spoonful of cinnamon. That is actually what happened to me this morning. I thought I was going to die. I went outside and I coughed like I had been working in the old coal mine forever. That's true.

2:08.0

And then I decided, you know what? I'm going on a run. So I could try and get this thing to go. It wasn't me acting. I know I have been known to act before. But hey, you know what? You know what? Good morning. Good morning. You can't stop my joy. Try to get my throat hole. We're all saying that term. It's just that's what it is. I just don't know what it is. I just don't know what it is. We are trying to be better about our morning because we are still getting up early.

2:37.0

But we are taking much longer to get ready than we normally would. Well taken our sweet time. So we're like, you know what? We have got to make it our mission to be ready for our day to start when we do the morning show. We're showered today. We're showered. I'm not in my clothes yet. I'm just in my getting ready clothes. This isn't what you're wearing today. No. I've complimented you twice on this grass. It's a prep dress. It's a prep dress. Normally in the winter, I wear a robe. It's too hot today to wear a robe somewhere in basically a moumou. I'll be wearing this. I was going to wear it. It's a nice outfit. I was going to wear a robe. It's a pretty tight dress. I was going to wear it today. I'm going to wear the robe, I'm going to wear it today. I'm going to wear it today.

3:07.0

I'm going to wear this v-neck all day long. You'll be wearing that v-neck for the rest of your life. That is my dream. I'd like to 100% of the time wear this actual v-neck. Same one every day. Seed jobs. Here's what I want for you though. What do you want for me? I don't want you to wear the same outfit every day. I just want to develop for you a capsule wardrobe. Do you know what that means? A capsule wardrobe is when you have like four pairs of pants, let's say, and like three pairs of shorts and like seven shirts.

3:37.0

I've heard about this. You don't even have to think you're like, these are my bottoms, these are my tops. Because at least then you get to mix it up. Are you saying I get tops? What? I don't know. I've never called a top a top. I just call it a v-neck. It's a shirt. Yeah, like a top and a bottom. But in boys speak, I'm wearing a shirt. I'm not wearing a top. I remember when like long trips were happening back in the old corporate traveling days and you would always travel with the executive who would only pack carry

4:07.0

on bags. And so packing in a way that was basically what you said. It was like, all right, are we going to Brown? We're going Brown. You need two pairs of Brown pants and four shirts that can just go with a different kind of Brown pants. Brown belt Brown shoes in a bag that you can roll in and off of a plan. You're going for eight days. Don't you pack a bag that you have checked in.

4:26.5

I'm not waiting for a bagage claim because you wanted to pack 27 outfits for a two day trip. I still have a picture of one of the first times I traveled with the now CEO of the Walt Disney company, my old boss Bob Chapic, who we landed in Amsterdam. There were nine of us that were traveling. It was the third stop of a five-stop thing. I know what you're going to say. And every other thing that you were going to say, I know what you're going to say.

4:54.5

And every other person had not checked in their bag and me because I need to bring all my shoes. I had a big bag that had been checked in and we stood at that baggage claim for 44 minutes. That is the literal 44 minutes with all of the executive team. And you were like, picking pictures of me like, I was the young executive. It was like, what's wrong with me?

5:18.5

Oh, that's made me never forget. You know what's so funny is that like business travel was such a hardship five weeks ago.

5:28.5

Doesn't even exist anymore. I'll go to, I'll go back to Fargo in the middle of January right now. I will. I will. What was that island you went to with the only in horse driving? I will go to Mac and on.

5:42.5

Mac and on. I will go to Mac and on. I will go to Mac and on. I will go anywhere. I will. I'll travel with my whole team with all their carry on.

5:56.5

You know what I've been not liking. I mean, I've liked it, but I don't like it. The people who were supposed to be hanging out with me on the book tour sending me the notes reminding me of the city I was supposed to be in.

6:06.5

I was Denver and I got a note from a fraternity brother of mine from college who he and his wife were going to be meeting me in the backstage area theoretically of hanging out in Denver, Colorado.

6:20.5

I was like, you're making me want to cry a little bit. I commit if you have a ticket, the the tour is going to be better than ever. Every single time that someone sends me a note, I'm like, you know what? I do really wish more than anything. I could be in freaking Denver right now.

6:34.5

I think it's something weird. I'll take anything. I did a book tour stop one time in Denver. Denver, oh, I remember. And I can never do an event there again. Well, people brought all of their things. It was. People brought all of their trauma to you. I'm still not okay. Well, here's the thing.
