As of Saturday following the most recent mass killing in Indianapolis

that city's third this year alone

CNN was reporting that the United States had experienced 147 mass shootings

this year. They were citing the Gun Violence Archive and not-for-profit that tracks mass shootings

in the United States.

Since that report four days ago, there have been eight more mass shootings, at least,

and I think there have been more.

None of those shootings are considered mass murders by the gun violence archive as they define

mass murder as four or more people being killed.

And in the recent shooting in Kenosha on Sunday,

three died while in another stabbing in Houston, two died, or sorry shooting.

So far the GVA, the gun violence archive, says there has been, there have been 11 mass murders in the US this year that means that we are

averaging over one mass shooting a day and every 10 days in the United States we are witnessing another mass murder.
