In this episode, I want to talk to you about my complicated relationship with sermon manuscripts. At this point, I am a conflicted manuscript preacher. I write a full sermon manuscript each week. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, I have taken the manuscript to the pulpit. On one hand, I feel like preaching from a sermon manuscript is helping my preaching. At the same time, there are ways In which I feel the manuscript hinders my preaching.
