Welcome to Grumpy old geeks for October 16th, 2015. I am Jason DeFilippo.

Guten Tag Jason, I'm Brian Schultmeister. Guten Tag and welcome back Brian. How was your trip?

It was pretty awesome way too short, but it was awesome. I had a great time. It's been a long time since I've

taken a really interesting trip throughout Europe going places. I don't normally go, meaning

just London and have work involved. There was no work involved. It was great. I had a wonderful time

and I'm very sad to be back and I'm not having any giant pretzels for breakfast.

Pretzels and beer?

Pretzels and beer and brought worse than Schnitzel. Basically just deliciousness everywhere.

Well that's good. What all did you do? Let's see. I did a, we went to Toronto for two days to

visit the in-laws and see all the friends that we have there. Then went off to London for two

days visiting with friends and just kind of doing the normal London things that I like to do.

Then it was off to Germany for basically a week, a couple days in Munich, train up to Leipzig,

where I saw the German national team basically win their way into the next year's European cup.

That was awesome. Then up to Berlin for two days and then home.

Did you do any dancing in Berlin? No dancing in Berlin. By the time we got to Berlin,

it was just exhausted. It was kind of like treacherous and find more beer.

It would have been great to stay longer. But then again, when I do those kind of vacations,

we play hard. Pretty tired. The jet light coming back was pretty extreme.

Good times though. I had a fantastic time. I did notice a couple different things about tech

over there, particularly the wireless thing because I haven't screamed about this for a while.
