Finnegan is perhaps best known as one of the original panelists on VH1's Best Week Ever and as Chad, the only white roommate in the “Mad Real World” sketch on Comedy Central's Chappelle's Show. Additional television appearances as himself or performing stand up have included “Conan”, “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson”, "Would You Rather...with Graham Norton", “Good Afternoon America” and multiple times on The Today Show and Countdown with Keith Olbermann, and on History's I Love the 1880s. He hosted TV Land's game show "Game Time". As an actor, Finnegan portrayed the supporting role of "Carl" in the film Eden Court, a ticket agent in "Knight and Day" and several guest roles including a talk show host on "The Good Wife". In October 2006, Finnegan's debut stand up comedy CD titled Two For Flinching was released by Comedy Central Records, with a follow-up national tour of college campuses from January to April 2007. “Au Contraire!” was released by Warner Bros. Records in 2009. His third special "The Fun Part" was filmed at the Wilbur Theatre in Boston on April 4, 2013 and debuted on Netflix on April 15, 2014.

Oh, he's back. The people love him. They love him. They said to me last week, I just, I love Christian. I wish you would go longer with him. And so today, nine hours, me and you. Let's get it started. Nine hours, absolutely. I've got a pint of Gatorade here. I'm going to do some mid-interview stretching. I know. Let's do it. It's like hands on a hard body. It's mouths on a gross Mike Winsock. That's right. And I'm happy to keep spitting on it for the next day or so. First of all, what's getting you through? What are you just strapping yourself with? You're doing the usually doing the sports? You're doing the Academy Awards a little bit, maybe a little bit of all. I was doing the sports. And then last night, my guy, Jalen Brunson, went down with an injury, played for the New York mix. And we're still waiting to hear whether it's going to be like a week's thing or a month

0:54.2

oh man that is it's brutal it's not good key player and a great guy and now he's he's the

1:01.5

great player yeah and he's a yeah it's a bad scene Pete not going to lie to you but that is

1:07.4

something i did watch the academy awards um because i'm a siniest, as I say. What else is keeping me alive? I'm enjoying severance. Yeah, last night, my wife and I watched The Man with Two Brains, which I hadn't seen since I was a little kid.

1:22.2

I thought that was a flyer for Shin Yun. No, it is not a Shin Yun flyerun flyer. Do you know this movie, Man of Two Brains?

1:29.1

No, I don't, but I'm more impressed that you and your wife get movies on DVD at the library. It's not, yes, we did get at the Queen's Library. It's not streaming. Man of Two Brains is not streaming, and so we do have a library down the street. And so rather than shell out that $4 or whatever it would take to rent it, we got the actual DVD. Good for you. I'm sorry to tell you that Trump is closing that library now. That's so true. It's probably it might not be the worst thing in the world. It's not a great library. I feel like every, it's a stupid joke, but it does seem like

2:01.3

anytime you find some joy, some peace, that's why I'm asking you, it seems like he ruins it. If you look at it, you're enjoying yourself and then you look at the news, you're like, what? A fucking spaceship blew up and now planes can't take off? I guess that wasn't. I don't remember who, I don't remember who said it within the last 10 days or so, but some might have been Elie Mistal. I don't remember, but I said basically that some people in this country want bad things for the people they hate more than good things for themselves. Right. Yeah. I saw that some version of that too. Yeah. yeah yeah i think that's pretty accurate and i do

2:36.1

and i and again it's like obviously i'm talking about my particular sliver of the culture but it's like

2:42.5

i do think that is another thing downstream from social media because you are constantly 50 times a day, if you're scrolling,

2:54.2

reminded of people you hate, the kinds of people you hate,

2:59.4

and what about them you hate.

3:01.7

Do you know what I mean?

3:02.2

And so you're constantly having that bruise poked every time you scroll.

3:07.3

And so I can understand it.

3:09.0

And I don't say this is just like a maggot thing.

3:12.2

If you were to tell me, hey, Christian, you could have $10,000 today on the spot or redacted, could die.

3:23.3

And that could mean one of a few people, I would probably do the latter.

3:28.3

How much would you give up to, without making threats on any, let's take it away from

3:34.4

elected government officials.

3:36.4

We can, let's say the South African guy, how much could like a Supreme being offered and be like, all right, I'll give you X amount of dollars or he could, his cyber truck could blow up with him in it?

3:49.6

I would do anything outside of.

3:52.0

But if I said, Pete, you could have either that happening or you could have 50 grand.
