I'm a 32-year-old father of one that never read the Percy Jackson books as a kid. I read them as an adult because I was on a quest to determine if this was a book series that society was sleeping on. I said yes. And now I'm seeing if society has been sleeping on the Heroes of Olympus series as well. And I'm joined today by someone who you've heard on the podcast, someone you may have seen at the live show we did recently in Phoenix,

Arizona that I have to upload at some point, but it's going to be like an in-between book episode

thing, so we'll figure it out. But you might know her as a part-time educator or a full-time

book nerd. It's Jinnia Stewart. Jania, how is it going? It is going. I'm glad it is going.

I'm feeling great. I started off my morning with yoga in the park, so I'm really feeling invigorated right now.

Incredible, incredible. I started off my morning with tending to a baby, so I'm ready to go. But I was reading these chapters at the wee hours of the morning, and they are good and they are spicy, and I am excited to get into

them.

Oh, yeah.

Yeah, for the context of the intro, this is the first episode we will have recorded since I have

had, and by I, I mean, Kelly had, and I was also there.

Since we had a child.

Look, I did some other, I did more than just moral support. I was like, I didn't think it was going to happen, but I was an active member in the delivery room, which I was happy to do. And I just listened to what the doctors told me to. So I didn't do nothing. But I certainly did significantly less. But I'm trying to pick up the slack by doing most of the diapers and stuff. So anyway, this is the first episode in the I Am a Dad era. So the first one recorded since becoming a dad. So if there's dad puns all over the place, that is why. And if the episodes have sounded a lot better, you know, it's like that thing that happens in sports. People have dads or people have dads. People have kids. And then boom, you know, they get better at the sport. And I will say, these Heroes of Olympus episodes have been fire. They've been good. And I know this one, even before recording, is going to be a banger because you are here. So let's, oh, of course. Let's get that context in of your Heroes of Olympus history, though. What is your history with the Heroes of Olympus books?
