episode 131. Today, Jason Lingerin is with me and we have a guest that will use

a pseudonym for reasons that will become obvious.

We also have submissions from other followers and people that we know that have submitted things

about higher education, which is what we're going to be covering now.

In my lifetime higher education has changed so drastically as to not be recognizable to what it was in

the 60s and 70s in this country.

And for my part, it's all about the same reasons of so many things we cover,

but there's a little twist on it.

In the information age, there is so much information available that probably a person with the

willpower to do so could educate themselves up to almost any level they wanted. Whether or not many people could pull that off, I'm not sure.

Point is, is like if I take myself as an example, as a young person I wanted to learn guitar. I did read a little bit of music but the music I was

interested in was not well covered by sheet music and tablature had not yet been invented.

Now I think back that if I would have had YouTube alone back in those days

I could have played or learned how to play any song I wanted as an example. But as we jump into

higher education it'll become pretty clear what's driving the university

boat these days, and it has very little do with education, it seems.

Anyhow, let's jump in with Jason and our guest for episode 131, counting the ways to higher education.
