So, do you feel like feminist Mormon Housewives has had a net positive impact on people's faith?

Do you feel comfortable enough saying, asserting that, that more people have stayed than have been driven away?

My impression from the kinds of emails I get from people would lead me to believe that.

And from, you know, the comments that I get on the blog, I have never, ever received an email from someone who said, you know,

I had no problems with the church, then I read FMH and now I'm leaving the church. I've never gotten that email.

You know, I have gotten lots of emails saying, I was on my way out. I couldn't figure these things out. I was so upset.

I didn't, you know, I couldn't, you know, I felt so alone. I thought I was the only one. I get those emails all the time.

I get emails from people saying, you know, I was on my way out of the church and I still left, but I left with a lot less bitterness than I would have left, you know, had, I not had FMH.

And I've had people, I've gotten emails saying, you know, I left the church years ago and I might not have left if I'd found FMH before I left.

I've gotten emails from people saying, I want to join the church, but I didn't know if I could because I was a feminist.

But now I'm going to join. I've gotten emails from people saying, I, um, I, um, my mind just went blank.

Basically, I think it's a net positive. I think I do get emails from people who are very upset that I dare talk about these things.

But I've never had any of them follow up saying, you've ruined my testimony. Right, right.

And maybe that's just something that someone would say, but, you know, I don't know.

What's the, how many people do you think you've reached in total through your, your blog and what do you think your regular readership is? Do you have any idea?

Well, I don't really have any idea how many total it would be. I know that, you know, it changes over time, like people who used to be here don't come very often.

It's like, even for me, I, you know, like I said, I would have read and written on the blog 24 seven for, for probably a year.

I would have done nothing else. I wouldn't have eaten or slept. I just was so into it. But then after a while, you've had, I feel like I've had all the conversations already pretty much.

And I've already talked about all the subjects and I, and I've resolved a lot of my own questions and, and I'm pretty comfortable with where I am right now.

And so now I, a lot of what I do is just sort of for other people, I do it because I feel like, well, I mean, I still get the accolades and I still like being, you know, I still like people reading my stuff.
