0:41.2	Lori, among other things, is an animal communic communicator and so we're going to be talking about that a bit and it's funny in the last week I've had the serendipitous
0:47.0	animal communicator type experiences and you know because I was thinking about this interview
0:51.6	and I was thinking well does this really fit into the theme of this show and having sort of skeptical thoughts?
0:56.9	And then last Sunday I was at a potluck dinner and I was sitting talking to a good friend of mine who's been a friend for a dozen years.
1:03.2	And she told me she was an animal communicator.
1:05.6	I didn't know any, I had no idea. And we talked for about an hour and I asked her all sorts of questions and it really
1:11.5	kind of deepened my understanding of the whole thing. And then just like yesterday I opened up an
1:18.0	email from a friend who happens to live in an ashram in the Himalayas who actually gets down
1:22.4	to civilization once in a while and sends me emails. And he sent me this thing about this guy in Africa
1:28.9	who rescued traumatized elephants
1:32.5	that were otherwise going to have to be shot.
1:35.1	And he managed to communicate with them in such a way
1:37.7	as to convince them that they were going to be safer
1:40.0	just staying in this protective area that they had set up
1:42.8	and they shouldn't try to escape.
1:44.0	And he formed this real bond with them.
1:47.0	And then he died unexpectedly last March of a heart attack in the middle of the night.
1:53.0	And all these elephants came from miles and miles away, you know, to be near where he had died. And everyone was amazed because how did the elephants know he had died, you know?
2:04.8	And then there was one other email this guy sent me about this Indian fellow named Balraj Maharshi
2:10.9	who was able to talk to plants.
