Previously on the podcast, we met a boy, Mokley, a bandit at a young age.

When Chercon, the feared tiger chased his parents from the jungle.

Mokley was later adopted and raised by the wolf pack, and educated by both Blue, the Stern in Serious Bear, and Bigerah, the Black Panther.

One day, Mokley found himself kidnapped by the Banderlogg, the monkeys, and taken to the ruins of a human city, buried deep in the jungle.

When Blue, Bigerah, and Ka, the snake, came to his rescue, the monkeys trapped him in a summer house for safe keeping.

Maybe knowing, maybe not knowing, that the house was full of cobras.

At the second time that day, Mokley was glad for Blue's literal heavy-handed teaching style,

and for being forced to learn all the languages of the animals.

The call of the snakes, the phrase that convinced them that they were on the same side, not to attack, came to his mind, and he hissed it.

The room froze, but they didn't lower their hoods.

Mokley hissed again, and still, the snakes did not retreat.
