Welcome back to the Quoted The Day Show. I'm your host, Sean Crox and the

Sean Crox and dot com. We've got Eric Thomas also known as E T the hip hop

preacher on the show today for your motivation Monday and today's clip is for

my guys. It's for my dude. It's for all the men out there because not all of us,

but a lot of us don't have our stuff together. A lot of us aren't taking care of

our kids. We don't have jobs. We don't have skills. We don't have our finances

together. We got bad credit and stuff. We are becoming burdens to our women.

For 40 years old and still out in the club like just doing childish stuff. We

got to grow up. There's a couple books. I want to recommend to my guys. These are

great books to put in stockings stocking stuffers for the holiday. Number one on

this book. I think should be read by all men every year,

least once a year is called the Way of the Superior Man by David Data. Pick

that one up. When you're done with that one, read the late Stefan Arneo's book.

I stumbled upon this one a couple of months ago and I loved it. One of the best

books I read all year. It's called Hard Times Create Strong Men. Hard

Times Create Strong Men. Now, I want to agree with every single thing in this

book, but it gets its point across about men being men again and taking care of

our responsibilities and working. Right? There's dignity and work. And some of

that work, a lot of that work is mundane work. There's a lot of people out

there like looking for some job that they're going to love 100% and it's going to

be like Disneyland going to their job. Like that's kind of not how it works. So
