Summary

We’ve been sold a lie that progress has to be painful—and that if we enjoy the path, we’re probably doing it wrong. But what if the opposite is true?

In this episode, I’m introducing you to an idea I’m calling 75 Fun—not a challenge, not a reset, but a rhythm. A summer rhythm that actually feels good to live. One that includes strength, rest, play, and connection… without guilt or burnout.

We’ll talk about:

  • Why most plans fall apart (hint: they’re miserable)

  • The fear that “ease” means “failure”

  • How I’m designing a life I don’t want to escape from this summer

  • The difference between indulgence and intentional joy

  • What my personal 75 Fun rhythm looks like (and how you can create your own)

This isn’t about perfection. It’s not about doing more. It’s about finally creating a life you love to live—one small decision at a time.

my goals.

0:57.3

For so long, I thought those things couldn't go together.

0:59.8

Like, I can't live fully and have a blast and also make progress towards my goals because

1:05.2

so often the path that I chose for progress felt like kind of living under lockdown.

1:14.7

And that didn't feel good. And with every season comes more experience and with increasing

age comes more wisdom. And for me, I've realized where I live, I live on Cape Cod and it's, you know, beach and fun weather

1:33.1

and spring and summer is like everything, right?

1:36.7

Plus, I have three young kids.

1:40.0

And what I've realized is in every way, in my work, in my time management, in how the days go,

1:47.8

I want to create spring and summer to be a little bit more different, to be more flexible

1:53.8

work-wise, even if that means I'm getting up a lot earlier so that I have more freedom in my days.

2:00.7

That's sort of what spurred this.

2:02.5

How can I have a different approach to the spring and the summer so that there's more

time for fun and more time for play and more time for true enjoyment and living fully,
