deplorables, Trump, Brexit and the demonised masses, which we're very excited to be

releasing today on Spiked. It tells the story of those two key

populist revolts of 2016, not from the perspective of the politicians but from the perspective of the voters.

We travelled from the Essex coast to the Ross Belt, talking to writers,

academics and voters to explore what really drove those so-called deplorables, the people

so often dismissed as bigots and fools to deliver those two political

upsets.
