Now, here's Paul teaching that men of faith are fearless.

I have a great sense of privilege right now that I get to be the one who gets to talk about what in the world it looks like to be a man of faith.

He was one of the most controlling men I have ever met.

He had to have constant control in his marriage, constant control over his children, constant control in all of his relationships, constant control at work.

He was dominant and strong.

But the more I unpacked his story, the more I realized that that dominance and control had left

behind it all kinds of damage.

That's why he wanted to talk with me.

And the more I listened to this man, the more I realized this controlling man was one of the most fearful

men I had ever met. His control was a way of dealing with his fear. The way he dealt with
