When I started joy filled, I was in a really lonely season of my life. I had a two-year-old

and an almost one-year-old, and my only real

friend was my husband, if I'm honest, and he's amazing and always in forever my best friend.

But you know what I mean? I was desperate for mom friends. I'd see these mom groups on Instagram,

going to dinner regularly, meeting up for coffee on the weekend, stopping in unannounced each other's

houses. And I just, I felt so alone. I mean, I'm sure you know what that feels like, too,

to scroll and get on your phone and feel like everybody else has this thing that I want so bad.

And I think often, especially when there's something that we're so desperate for

or we're longing for so much, our eyes, it becomes magnified. Like, we see it everywhere, right?

And I was even seeing it in my real life. Like, I had friends from church that had their own friend

group that I wasn't a part of,

showing up for each other, being each other's chosen aunties for their kids. And honestly,
