Hey everyone, happy Monday. It's E and welcome to another episode of Monday Meditations. Today we're

0:07.7

going to be meditating on our God's sovereignty. God is in complete control of everything, the whole

0:14.5

entire universe. He is the Lord over all and God's authority over us, his people, and all creation should really inspire us

0:23.0

to worship him because he is completely good and completely sovereign. What's powerful to think of,

0:29.2

though, is that the sovereignty of God means that everything that exists in this world was because

0:34.5

God willed it. And in God's sovereignty, the events of this world that happen

0:38.2

are according to his plan. God is sovereign in creation, providence, redemption, and judgment.

0:45.3

And don't lose sight of God's providence in your life, especially when times are tough and when

If God has promised restoration, then no amount of human obstacles in opposition can stop God's will from being fulfilled.

1:22.5

God will make it happen and God will graciously provide all that is necessary for his people to come back to

1:28.6

him. There is power in believing in God's providence and provision, believing that he is in control

1:34.5

of all the details of our lives and our family because God is fulfilling his purpose for our

1:40.5

lives. And in his sovereignty rests our confidence. The sovereignty of God teaches us that

1:46.1

there is no such thing as luck, chance, fate, or even coincidence. To call God sovereign means that

1:52.4

his purpose will be realized. To claim that sovereignty of God in our lives is to abandon

1:58.0

ourselves to God completely, and also to not tremble over past or present

2:03.1

difficulties that God has promised neither to fix or to prevent and to trust that a story worth

2:08.9

celebrating is always unfolding. So let's take a deep breath, posture our hearts to reflect our
