they released a press release with their 2023 financial performance and looking ahead

to 2024. So a quick overview, Volkswagen groups

are a 12% increase in vehicle deliveries last year, 9.24 million units with contributions from

all regions and business units. The company reported a sales revenue of 32.2 billion euros, an operating profit of 22.6 billion euros and a

profit after tax of 17.9 billion euros. But we want to get into the EV stuff, don't we?

They say the proportion of battery electric vehicles in deliveries rose throughout the year,

hitting 10% in Q4, with an annual share of 8.3%

setting a new record. A total of 771,000 pure B-EVs delivered in 2023, marking a 35% increase

from the previous year, highlighting growth across all regions and reinforcing VW's leadership,

they say, in the European BV market, where, of course, as a group, they do lead. Future investments, they say, will be

around 170 billion euros for the 2025 to 2029 period, focusing on new products, regional strengthening, the battery business, and
