I love Las Vegas. When most people think about Vegas, I don't think they necessarily think of it as a place to take their kids. So that's what this episode is all about. How to be awesome at doing Vegas with kids. From how to get there to what to pack and where to go, what shows to see, where to eat. I'm covering it all.

Depending on where you live, Vegas can be such a great extended weekend getaway. There's just

0:28.6

so much to do from indoor skydiving and museums to seeing animals and going to dinner and shows.

0:36.2

Your kids will love it. And the best part, you will too.

We're talking Vegas, baby. Let's go. You're listening to the How to Be Awesome at Everything

0:45.8

podcast, where we're obsessed with life hacks that make your life more awesome. Your host,

0:52.0

Lindsay Dick Hout, is an entrepreneur and business owner, a mom and wife,

0:56.2

and someone who wants to do things over the top at all times. This concept started as a collection

1:01.9

of things Lindsay has learned that she was documenting to give to her kids one day. And now it's a

1:06.7

podcast. Join us on this journey where we talk about how to be awesome at everything we do. Here's

1:20.0

babysitter too. So it's like 50% adult trip and 50% kids trip. I love a pool day, especially

1:27.3

when it's nice and warm in Vegas, but for the most

1:29.9

part, I'm over wild Vegas pool parties, at least now in my age. So I bring the kids an adventure

1:37.4

with them all day long, tucker them out, get them back to the hotel room around four or five,

1:43.3

get them bathed and cozy and ordering

1:45.4

room service for dinner, then get myself ready and head out the door around six or seven,

1:50.9

do dinner and a show, run around, meet up with friends, gamble, and be back in the hotel

1:57.8

by midnight or 1 a.m. at the latest. Then I'd wake up and do it all over again. I love it.

2:05.3

There's so much to do in Las Vegas, but there's so much of it that I wouldn't necessarily do if I

2:10.8

didn't have kids there. Like, if you've done it as adults, like how many times could you go to the

2:15.6

wax museum just as an adult without kids?
