I grew up in a family where it was trash airport novels, like, and my parents would trade

back and forth. And so, like, I grew up reading, and not all of this is bad, but I mean,

I definitely grew up reading, like, Heinlein and Robert Ledlam and stuff like that, like,

from a very, very early age. So when, like, the Bne movies came out, I was like, that's not Robert Ludlam.

I was like, I knew it like, you know, 16 years old or whatever.

I was like, that's not right.

But I've always kind of, I've had a fascination with reading for sure.

But as of late, it's been like pretty, pretty highbrow,

more philosophy. And so I'm going back and forth and I started reading Marcus Aurelius and that led

to like Epictetus and that led to Seneca. And then I, someone talked to me about Alan Watts.

I was like, never read him. So I'm going to check it out. And so I started reading Alan Watts. And then Alan Watts has was like never read him so I'm gonna check it out

and so I started reading Alan Watts and then Alan Watts has now led to Aldous Huxley

because apparently those guys used to fucking trip together so what kind of philosophy are you

reading it's really cool I'm doing East Meets West so it's like Seneca and the Stoics and

the Cynics from like Greek philosophy.

And these are Roman people.

It's interesting that there's these Roman dudes that are looking back to Greece going they had it all figured out.

And then...

Yeah, which is interesting because like Marcus and Seneca and all these cats wrote their I mean the Stoic like like Marcus

never meant for his shit to be read by anybody he was just doing it to his to himself and it's probably

because Seneca died it was a trainer or teacher of his so he's continuing the conversation
