0:38.8	education and access to higher education. Education has always been important to me personally,
0:45.2	even as I struggled through the fourth grade with an impossible professor, and even in high
0:50.8	school when I had some personal struggles. A few people really helped me to get through
0:55.8	in ways that I will always remember. And now I'm only one quarter away from completing my MBA
1:01.7	at Santa Clara University. My point is this. Many of us encounter bumps on the road that can derail us.
1:09.0	We encounter problems of self-doubt, and we may not have
1:12.5	the money we need to pursue the education we want and deserve. These problems exist all around
1:18.6	the globe, and in Africa, where we will focus our discussion today, serious systemic problems
1:25.2	prevent talented young people from gaining the opportunities that we take for granted in the West.
