Hello and welcome to episode 13 of Have You Heard George's podcast.

We need to talk.

As much as I appreciate your support, it does give me pause for thought. I'm benefiting from

securing your attention, but how can I be sure of your intentions? In this

chapter, so far, for the most part, I've been telling a story and it's not the first story you've heard obviously, but my motivations are different from whomever before me.

Chapter 1 was good. No one's denying that.

But now we're back for round 2.

And there's a voice in my head saying,

you know a lot more about me than I know about you.

So who are you, my listener?

And why did you keep visiting my cinema?

Can you tell that I really am hurting?

And if so, does that mean the plan's working?

In episode 9, I told you about a man who's been famous for two decades,

a man who's been described as a headcase. We watched him

become a multi-millionaire and we knew what created him but we didn't care

about where he was from and the conditions there. So why would I convince myself you're on my side

just because you're sitting there wide-eyed? And I'm not saying this to Rock your bolt. I actually think it's not your fault.

There's all sorts of problems in the world, so why should mind take priority?

You have to take care of yours as basic primates ecology. It's easier to make peace
