| 0:40.0 | And I think that it's a surprisingly good analogy for a lot of what we're going to hear about |
| 0:47.5 | politics, electability, the Democratic Party, the 2020 election and so forth. |
| 0:54.8 | So going back to the age of sort of the dawn of the age of jet planes in the Air Force, |
| 1:03.2 | moving away from the propellers and whatnot, moving into jets, airplanes were becoming |
| 1:07.5 | more complicated. |
| 1:08.5 | We were asking more of pilots to be able to maneuver these planes. |
| 1:14.3 | And during this era, there was a sadly high crash rate amongst pilots. |
| 1:23.7 | Many died, not all of course, but the Air Force was struggling to figure out what the |
| 1:30.0 | problem was. |
| 1:32.4 | And they tested the planes, did everything they could to see if the planes were malfunctioning. |
| 1:36.5 | And it really didn't seem like they were. |
| 1:38.2 | The planes were functioning the way they were supposed to. |
