It's not maybe in some other places. Maybe the other Roanokes of the world as well.

Probably the number one podcast in all Roanokes.

You know what? How I'm gonna go out on a limb? I'm just gonna assume it's true.

I'm gonna assume it's true as well. It is surprised me that in all, because we're vocal about being Roanokers,

you know, of the town of Roanoke. We talk about it a little bit. It's a little bit of show trope.

It is surprising to me that no one who watches has never written in and been like, oh my god, I live in Roanoke, Washington.

Oh yeah, right. Roanoke, South Carolina. I totally thought you meant here.

Yeah, yeah, because that would be cool. That'd be cool.

There's like, isn't there like a lost colony of Roanoke or something?

There is. And it's like one of those things that you would think being from somewhere called Roanoke,

that it would be like a story that I think I know better. But to the best of my knowledge,

it's like a group of explorers landed on the small island and they like wrote,

they like carved into the tree that they had been there and then they were just like gone.

And like that's as much as I know, it's just that like it was like, what happened to them?

I don't know. And I don't know either. Maybe we should do some research

into the lost colony of Roanoke. Maybe we should.

But are we named after that Roanoke? I don't think so.

I don't even know where's the name Roanoke even come from.

I think it is an indigenous American word.
