This is the Baymont podcast with Marty Sullivan. I'm his co-host, Brent Billings. Today we set the stage for the final week of Jesus' earthly ministry.

That's right. We're going to do something a little interesting today.

This is always a part of teaching that I have a hard time engaging.

I have actually a post that I wrote a long time ago about this. I thought I would just pull that out today and look at it.

We're going to do that in the middle of the episode today.

We're going to do this. I want to take the next two or three podcasts.

I want to talk about the rest of the book of Matthew.

I don't want to do it in the same way that we've been doing it. Read some verses, do some commentary, read some verses, do some commentary.

I want to talk about it in ways that I'm going to have to talk about the whole big picture.

But I made that promise that we're going to do every verse of Matthew.

So we're going to read every verse of Matthew 26 and 27 today.

And don't shut off your podcast because I got things to say in the middle of it.

And I got some things to say at the end of it.

So you listen through. All right. All you podrishners out there. You listen.

You think people would turn it off just because we're reading?

I would hope that that would not be true of our listeners here at the B-Mot podcast.

If anything, it seems like it would increase our request to create an audio version of the book.

Don't even give them that idea. The answer that is no. We do not have the manpower.

We don't have the manpower nor the licensing agreements.

That was right from the new international version of people.

Although if I was going to have an audio commentary or an audio version of the Bible,

I would want Brent Billions be in my reader. I'll tell you that much right now.
