Hello and welcome back to Cult Leader. I'm your Cult Leader Spencer Henry and man, oh man, what a week it's been.

I'm exhausted, I'm not gonna lie, I feel like this last week was one of those weeks where just every single day was full of stuff to do. Last night I was super late but I did get a chance to catch up on Cruel Summer.

I was too late for this episode and I was too late for this episode. I'm waiting for something big to happen. There's lots of eluding and hinting in the past two episodes which build me a story but I need to twist. I need something big to happen because I am getting bored.

I need to tell you guys, so I think I mentioned in a recent semi-recent episode, I'm like burnishing the second bedroom into an office slash guest room and in doing so I ordered a new couch and I finally got to go pick it up this week.

Let me tell you what, and where do you all that was. I wish Madison was here to tell this story with me. We'll probably talk about it more in depth on a bituary but fuck you guys.

It's a sleeper sofa. I made a sleeper sofa and it's a cool mid-century, really nice textured yellow and it's super comfortable.

But if you've ever tried to lift a sleeper sofa, you would know they are much heavier than the average couch. So we go, we pick up the couch, Madison brings her husband, sprinter van, we pick it up, they get it in the van and they're like hey, do you have help when you get home?

We're like oh yeah, yeah, we got it, we got it. We didn't have it. When we got to my apartment, we got it out of the van and to my door, like the back door.

And that itself was about like a 20 minute journey. Oh, that was the hard part. Okay, well, whoo, once we got that over with, no.

So when you go down the hallway to where the bedrooms are, there's like a turn and there's a wall blocking kind of where you would turn to go into the front door of that room.

I'm not kidding. It took more than two and a half hours to get it in. We broke my wall. We have to stand and paint it.

Now, if you're from, if you are for some reason, my property manager or anything, this is a lie. None of that happened. No, but you guys, Madison literally took a fucking hammer to a wall so that we could fit it through.

I was like, I don't care. Just get it in. We were sweating. We were pushing it up with our legs. We were like, one of us would crawl over to the other side to lift one part of it.

And then one of us would crawl under to get the other side. I remember I was under it at one point. I'm like, Madison, if you fucking drop this, it's over. I'm dead.

But it's in here now. She looks great. Whoever gets the apartment after me, I hope you love it because I cannot take it out of here. I don't think it will go out.

But that's my couch drama for the week. Hope you loved it.

I've been sitting on this story for a hot minute and I'm ready. Are you ready? You ready? I'm ready. It is the summer of 1986. We love an 80 story. We are in Auburn, Washington approximately 28 miles from the city of Seattle, which I like. I'm a big fan of Seattle. Though if I had a free weekend in the Pacific Northwest, I personally would probably opt for Portland.
