Pope Leo the 14th has doubled down on the recent Marian document, which says that the title for the Blessed Virgin Mary co-redemptrix is never appropriate.

Also discourages the term mediocrats for the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Now, I covered this earlier, and I thought, well, maybe this is just a one-off,

and it kind of seemed like they backtracked a little bit on it.

But this morning, this very day, Pope Leo the 14th, gave a reflection on the document.

The Latin name of the document is Mater Populi Fidelis, mother of the faithful people.

And he says this. He praised the document saying that it encourages Marian devotion. That's good. Deepening its biblical and theological

foundations. That's good. And at the same time offers precise and important clarifications

for Mariology. End quote, that's the problem.

This has not been a clarification. This has been a controversy. This has caused confusion. And the

reason is, is we have not just dozens and dozens of saints that use the term mediocrats and mediatics of all graces for the Blessed Virgin Mary and co-redemptrix for our lady.

But we also have popes who have been using the terminology of mediocrats and co-redentrics.

On top of that, as we'll see in today's show, the Second Vatican Council

uses the term mediocratics. And so what we have here is a so-called clarification that is

casting into doubt all the saints, all the Marian theologians, the Pope's Saint Pope. Pope John Paul II, who used both terms, and if it's

always inappropriate, why is Pope St. John Paul the second using the term? Was he inappropriate?

Was he off base? This is a nagging problem in the Catholic hierarchy right now, and that is ambiguity layered

on top of ambiguity and ambiguity in the people, the little people, like you and me, down

here at the parish level, we're like, what is going on?

Things are getting more confusing about homosexuality, cohabitation, contraception.

We've got a new bishop appointed in the Philippines, appointed by Pope Leo the 14th,

who's saying we need to get away from natural law.
