Will there be a Latin mass solution in this new year of 2006 in the year of our Lord?

My favorite Vatican journalist Diane Montania released an exclusive today about a letter sent to Cardinals offering a solution to the traditional

at Mass in the aftermath of Tradizinos custodas by Pope Francis in order to provide a freedom

for the traditional at Mass. What I think is very interesting about this, and it's something we don't

talk enough about, and that is pastoral and episcopal oversight for the faithful in the

traditional Latin Mass. Now, I read the letter. It's by a French priest. I've heard of him before. I'm

probably not going to say his French name correctly,

but the author is Father Louis Marie de Belluginier. Nah, that's messed up right there. Let me try again.

Blignere. I'm going to go with that. All right. He's the founder of the fraternity of St. Vincent

Ferrer. Really interesting backstory. I don't want to get into that today, but

you know, go online and read about it. Well respected traditional priests. And what he's done is he

suggested that the traditional Latin mass communities, this would be fraternity of St. Peter,

instituted Christ the King, Good Shepherd. I would like to see the Society of St. Peter, Institute of Christ the King, Good Shepherd.

I would like to see the Society of St. Pius X, perhaps brought into something like this.

He's suggesting that the Ecclesiade communities and traditional faithful and clergy be placed into ordinariates.

What is an ordinariate?

Well, I'll use layman's terms.

It's like a diocese, but it's not necessarily geographic.

In canon law, it's called personal.

That is, you belong to it as a person because of a ecclesiastical personal assignment. We see this,

and my assignment, and I'm not assignment, a personal connection. That's better. We see this already, there's two precedents for it. One is the military archdioceses are like ordinarians.
