This is the second part of a two-part episode entitled The Tail of the Other Side of the Fence.

Last time I told you about the death of Christie Hall, which occurred in June of 2007.

Her husband Chris claimed that he found his wife floating

unresponsive in their backyard spa,

and assumed that she had fallen,

struck her head on the concrete corner of the edge of the spa, went unconscious, and

drowned.

But Christie's injuries told another story, and Chris was subsequently arrested and charged with murder.

And the couple's three daughters were adamant.

Their father did not kill their mother.

If they had had so much as an inkling of suspicion that he had a hand in their

mother's death, they would be the first ones to turn him into police.

And much of this case hinge on what neighbor Lindsay Patterson may or may not have seen when she heard a scream and peered over her backyard wall into the hall's yard where she saw something going on between Chris and

Christie. Chris's defender say Lindsay doesn't know what she saw. She only saw

flashes of an event.

Lindsay would agree. Yes, she saw only moments.

But she knows what she saw, and she knows how Christie's story ended that day.

The first trial ended in a hung jury.

So now we'll pick this up with the direction the prosecution is going to go for trial number two.

The prosecutor's first matter at hand was to send an investigator up to Idaho, where Chris Hall had worked as Chief of Police in two small towns.

And that investigator found and spoke to a former LAPD officer and the current county commissioner up in Idaho and a former friend of Chris's Jerry Winkle.
