Great to be with you. Well, we are really excited to have you on because we're discussing Romans

this season and today's chapter. For many folks, I feel like it's one of the more confusing,

troubling, tricky chapters in Paul's letter to the church in Rome. And so normally we read the

whole of the text, but since we're discussing a chapter today, I'm just going to read Romans 7,

21 through 25, and then we can jump into the conversation. So Romans 7 beginning in verse 21.

So I find it to be a law that when I want to do right, evil lies close at hand.
