The Oakwood Project is a collective that aims to mitigate food insecurity in the Black

Trans community. The project hires Black Trans chefs to come to the homes of Black trans

people or community centers if they're currently experiencing homelessness, took a healthy,

culturally relevant, and delicious meals. They feed bellies with great food and feed

spirits with great fellowship. The Oakwood Project intentionally has never sought 501

C3 status so they can ensure that their money goes where it's needed. Therefore, their

work is maintained entirely through individual donations from people like you and everything
