A new poll finds that a strong majority of Americans have concerns that the nation's

voting systems might be vulnerable to hackers.

That part of the survey is roughly unchanged, however, from concerns over election security

just before the 2016 presidential election.

But there is a twist this year, as AP notes, two years ago, it was Republicans who were

more concerned about the integrity of the election.

This year, it's Democrats, which of course underscores the point that I've been trying to

security and ability to oversee election results by the public are not a partisan issue.

It also underscores what I've similarly argued over the years that it won't be until

a Republican really gets screwed by our corporate-owned non-overseable voting and tabulation systems

that there will be any real change to the system.

For example, do you think that if Republicans felt that a foreign country like Russia or

any other might have manipulated our voting systems and our election results in 2016 to

install Hillary Clinton as president, that there might have actually been some real changes
