Curtis “Zeal” Ingram, also known as the Vegan Warrior, declares, “I will be 7 years old on Thanksgiving Day 2015. That is the day I chose to live ‘cruelty free,’ a conscious lifestyle for my health, literally doing no harm to animals and the planet, to the best of my ability.” At his son’s high school graduation—“the day that was supposed to be my happiest, I was actually the saddest”—Curtis could barely carry his 369 pounds across the parking lot and climb the stadium steps to his seat. He decided that day he had to change everything about his life.
