Realizing like as an adult, you know, the media is really trying to tell our

stories for us. Like they're trying to feed to us that we are not worthy. That one

mishap, one wrongdoing means that we should die. Right. And that envy

deserve that death. And so, you know, I got me thinking like, what would it

take for us to have ownership over a narrative? And I was like, I can't go

after NBC and ABC. You know, who am I? I don't have those resources to tackle

that. But I was like, you know, the stories that I want to hear are just from

regular people. Like I don't want sensationalism. I don't want from a porn. I

don't want stereotypes. I want to be able to hold all the complexities of who we

are, our innocence, our joy, our anger, even when we do fuck up. You

know, this that grace that we extend, I wanted to hold making space for all of
