Welcome back to Fit Body Happy Joints. My name is Shannon. Today we are talking about how exercise affects skin.

0:07.0

Exercise can accelerate aging of the skin if it is providing a stress response that your body can't handle. If that stress

0:16.2

is outweighing your body's ability to clear the stress, it can age your skin more rapidly.

0:23.4

Or if exercise is done in the appropriate amounts

0:27.2

in a way that your body can recover from,

0:29.5

it can reverse signs of aging,

0:31.9

and I want to discuss that today because I came

affect one system of your body it affects every other system in your body so

1:39.6

exercise isn't just going to affect your muscles and your heart and your lungs. It's going to have a

1:45.2

positive effect on the function of your kidneys, on your digestive health, on your mental health,

1:52.4

and on your skin. So I wanted to see the effects that training had on your

1:58.1

skin specifically and I'm no skin expert. I did a bit of basic refresh for the podcast to kind of learn and explain why the
