Hello and we've got a bit of a condensed special for you.

We've been playing the hot new game, Dune Imperium and I think it's quite good.

I quite like it.

Nobody else really thinks that and so in today's episode we're going to be talking about

that and come into some sort of conclusion based on that information.

Spoiler, we probably won't but we're definitely going to be, we're definitely going to be

talking about it and so without it's going to be very scientific.

Yeah, it's going to be super scientific, all the pros, all the cons.

It's going to be full of words.

But before we get into words, let's get into worms, things about to get spicy podcast style.

Tom, why don't you tell us a little bit about Dune Imperium.

We have been playing a little bit of Dune Imperium designed by Paul Denon and published

by Diowulf Games and Dune Imperium is a pretty spicy game at the moment.

Lots of people are excited about it because it's an exciting merging of deck building

and work a placement into a game about Dune.

Essentially in Dune Imperium you're all vying for control of Dune, the desert planet,

scrambling to get points by winning conflicts and swaying houses to your cause and that

makes it sound like original Dune, the board game, the sort of standard Dune, Gale Force 9

Dune, but no, this is very different because whilst it has the trappings of Dune, the setting
