My name is Brian Wallace.

I'm the host and creator here at physician assistant exam review.

And today we're going to be covering the cranial nerves.

0:09.0

Okay, so my plan for this section on the blueprint, it just says cranial nerve policies, right?

0:25.1

It doesn't give a whole lot of detail.

0:26.7

And I was talking with some students who are asking me about how deep to go into things that are like that, that don't give you those more detailed bits of information as to what to cover. So, for example, we'll come to neoplasms,

1:19.1

Just like, do I go to bed and get some sleep or do I stay up and study later, right? Those are two not good choices if you're not done studying for your test tomorrow.

1:23.8

And you have to choose between those. I will always choose get some sleep because I think a well

1:29.0

functioning brain is worth more than the information I'm not going to retain after midnight as I'm

1:33.4

studying. That's just my opinion, how I would do it. Doesn't mean it would work that way for you.

1:37.9

You may be different. Maybe you work better at night than I do. But my point is you sometimes

1:41.5

you're stuck with the situation that you're in. And I find that a little bit with sections like cranial nerve policies, right?
