You probably know Brian as Kevin from the office.

We're going to get the inside scoop on how the show's made the relationships of the characters

to each other, whether they were having as much fun off camera as they seem to be having

on camera and why this show, again, second time around, is such a big hit.

Brian, I have to ask you, the whole world, I believe, the office initially was not going

to be successful.

You didn't open to read reviews, it was some rough starting, how did you feel about it?

Did you write it off like all the critics, or did you feel differently from the get-go?

You know, we, well, first off, I was a fan of the British version of the show, so I

watched the British version of the show, I loved the British version of the show, and

I was probably too ignorant to think we couldn't be replicated.

I was like, well, this is good, we could do it.

Ben Silverman, I wrote the book with, talks about saying, well, if you're going to adapt

something, don't you want to start with something that's really good to be given up?
