As we're closing out this topic, let me just ask generally a question.

One thing we didn't notice is that they added a couple lines to the criteria for apostasy.

They added a new one because most of the people that have been expunicated for apostasy

in the past five years didn't meet the criteria.

They weren't teaching doctrine as true that wasn't doctrine.

They weren't joining groups that they shouldn't be joining.

All they were doing was like coming out of a podcast or like starting a support group

and none of that really met any of the criteria.

Now they've added a criteria that says showing a pattern of intention, intentionally working

to weaken the faith and activity of church members.

The other thing they tweaked, the gene of this will be close to your heart.

It says, formally joining another church and promoting its teachings and then it's got

the caveat, total inactivity or attending another church by itself doesn't constitute

apostasy.
