Hello, everyone. Welcome back to Impossible to Say. My name is Emily Proctor. And my name is

Kat Wellington. I hope everyone is doing amazing. If you saw my Instagram or on the Patreon,

I am a new mother. So Emily and I've kind of been recapping that. Yes, congratulations. I was

telling Kat that I'm really happy that everything went well

with the birth. Baby came out. Well, originally with no complications. Yeah.

But now to update, and this is also why I haven't posted anything. Everyone's like, I posted

a TikTok and people think I'm like gatekeeping the baby,

which I'm not. He, so I took him to the vet. I got him yesterday. I took him to the vet this

morning just to like, I wanted to make sure he was all good before I introduced him to Cheddar.

And I still haven't really done that, but Cheddar also figured out how to open the door and i still haven't seen

him do it so i don't know how he's doing it because it's like completely latched anyway um

and i took him to the vet this morning just to make sure and he does have fleas

yay um so i'm dealing with that i had to like deep clean my whole house which i'm still doing

and washing like bedding and stuff because of course i let him in my bed for like an hour this

morning so that's like disgusting and if anyone has dealt with fleas in the past let me know

if you have any advice because i'm just so scared there's going to be

like the sorry this is like a really gross way to start the pod but like I'm scared there's

going to be one that like hatches in my house and then it's game over for me I yeah I don't

really have too much experience with fleas but I am relating it to like having lice multiple

times as a young girl growing up.

And I'd like to think it's like the same situation.

Like you leave one egg behind or one one louse.
