I always picture this moment as the disciples crowding as far away from Jesus as they can get,

staring at him with wide open eyes still panting from their exertion and fear,

and saying to each other, who is this?

Who can command the wind and the sea?

And have them obey.

But of course they knew the answer because they knew the sultan.

And the fishermen especially must have immediately thought of this section of Psalm 107

and realized that this man so tired

and sleeping was at the same time the Lord, who's bidding the sea and the wind have to obey.
