Welcome to the Dead Meat Podcast, the extension of the YouTube channel Dead Meat. I'm James.

I am Chelsea and we are engaged and we like to get scared together.

I had people recommend movies for us to review and I wanted to do some newer stuff, some new releases

because it's so easy to just fall behind and with new horror movies there's still so many.

I haven't seen them this year alone.

I forgot that this was going to be the episode that takes us to our holiday break.

I picked Possessor not realizing that but it just feels right.

That's fine. 2020 was a weird year.

This is a weird movie. So we're going to Possessor play us out for 2020.

Yeah, I went in knowing nothing about this other than the fact that it's written and directed by Brandon Cronenberg, David Cronenberg's son.

And I just knew people online said I would dig it and you're correct.

I really enjoyed this. I really like the fact that I have a podcast where people listen to me talk about movies every week

and have a very, by now, very good idea of what I like.

And so when people are pretty overwhelmingly recommend this, like a lot of you wanted us to watch this.

I had a good feeling and yeah, you all know me so well now.

I really touched that movie. That's this fucked up is one that you're all like.

This is one child.
