Hello and welcome to the Teen Life Coach podcast. I'm your host Sammy and today we are talking

about what teachers want you to know. Hey everyone, I am so excited about today's episode. I have had the

chance to talk and listen and learn from some incredible

teachers for this episode. And I am so excited to share with you today what I have learned from

them. And what I really love is I was able to share some of the struggles with them that a lot of the teens that I work with have

and kind of hear their thoughts and solutions from a teacher perspective. So I have a lot in

my head today to share. So hopefully I can get it all in on episode in a way that makes sense.

I kind of wanted to take your guys's struggles to

these teachers that I talked to and I kind of just wanted to hear their opinion on things or

hear what they have to say about it. Okay. So what I'm telling you guys today is their answers

to some of the struggles that you guys are experiencing. Okay. And just a side note,

teachers are incredible. I am so thankful for them. And my kids have had incredible teachers over

the years and this year. And I know their job is hard, especially with COVID and everything

that's been going on. And I could not be a teacher. So I am so grateful

that there are amazing people out there that love to teach kids and love being in a classroom.

Okay. So as you are heading back to school this year, these are a few things that teachers want you

guys to know. Okay. the first one is about grades.

All right. Grades do not dictate your worth and value as a person. Okay. So if you do not get

straight A's or even get Bs or Cs, it doesn't mean that you are not a grade A person. All right? So I have a

daughter with severe OCD and she has actually really never been able to get A's in her classes.

And that's okay. It's just the way that her brain works and the way that she learned. She has a
