It's one of my favorite expressions, man it up. Man it up. Come on, boy. Man it up. So this is a phrasal verb to man up, M-A-N-U-P. And the expression is man-it-up.

So what does it mean to man-it-up?

It means act like a man.

Don't act like a child.

Don't act like a baby. Act like a man. Don't act like a baby.

Act like a man.

Don't be weak and emotional like a woman.

Uh-oh.

Now all the ladies will be mad at me.
