Now, I'm sure that you're all very familiar with the fact that Casey and Aaron were expecting a baby, and if you haven't heard by now, they welcomed a wonderful daughter into the world. Her name is Michaela Charlotte, which is a beautiful name.

Well, Casey isn't here this week.

I am a wonderful co-host, and I decided to give Casey the week off.

This is, as you may have known by now, by seeing the title of this episode, The Casey List,

Paternity Leave, extravaganza.

And I decided that I was going to pull in a bunch of friends and talk to them about some

stuff that they're excited for and stuff that they're working for in 2018.

Just two simple questions.

I'm going to ask a bunch of fine guests. Now, if you were coming to this episode and hoping to hear a bunch of

baby talk, what I would recommend that you do is go and listen to episode 257 of the accidental

tech podcast right at the end. And at the beginning, they talk about the baby.

I figured that Casey would not be able to agree to keeping the ATP analog agreement alive.

So I figured let him go and talk about it there,

and I'll give him some time off, and we'll do a special episode this time

and then next week he'll be back and we'll be able to talk tons more about becoming a dad

for the second time and probably talking about the fact that he's super tired. I expect Casey to say

that he is tired on our next episode about 16 times so you can count along with me. But for this week's

episode, we have a special presentation, so I'm going to be talking to a bunch of people.
