| 0:30.0 | My granddad, known as Jim, didn't fight in the second world war because he was a shipbuilder on the docks in Liverpool. |

| 0:50.0 | He had a friend that was enlisted and right before he was deployed, him and my granddad had the same heated discussion they always did about life after death. |

| 1:11.0 | Sometime after this, my granddad's sister, my great aunt, was just chilling in her room one evening. |

| 1:35.0 | My aunt immediately told her father that this man had just been in her room, and of course he kicked off but there was no sign of him anywhere. |
| 1:43.0 | A few days later, they learned that his ship had gone down the same night he had appeared in my aunt's bedroom. |
| 1:50.0 | My granddad passed away at the grand age of 95 in October 2019. |
| 1:56.0 | He had lived independently up until he was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor on his face and neck that eventually led him to receiving end of life care in a nursing home. |
| 2:06.0 | I should note as well that my granddad was still sharp at 95 and had no memory problems. |
| 2:12.0 | One night, the nurse had walked past my granddad's room on his rounds and glimpsed the figure of a woman in the chair next to granddad's bed. |
| 2:20.0 | Backtracking and thinking it was one of the dementia patients wandering, the nurse went into the room to check. |
| 2:26.0 | Nobody was there. |
| 2:28.0 | My granddad was awake so the nurse said, |
| 2:31.0 | Jim was there someone in the year second ago? |
| 2:34.0 | Yes, said granddad. |
| 2:36.0 | It was just my wife popping into see me. |
