author, founder of a charity called Star Child, and this is Michaela Foster Marsh.

So I've done a real brief intro right there

but for people who may not be familiar with who you are

tell them a little bit about you and what you do well as you said I'm a singer a

songwriter and I have three albums most of which were recorded in Canada where I lived for about 18 years and most recently I went into the world of writing. Well not really recently I mean it takes such a long time to write a book but I've now got three books I've written and the first one to be published is actually my memoir.

It's a very candid memoir about growing up with my adopted

Ugandan brother, Frankie, in the late 60s until he died at the age of 27 and a house fire.

And 18 years after I ended up finding his family in Uganda. It was a bit of a long

pilgrimage to get there but I decided I wanted to to find the family in Uganda and I've been doing a lot of writing about a

fictional character very loosely based on his mother who gave him up for adoption and after my mom died I came across all the paperwork.

My family had all gone by that point and I came across the people work in Frank's adoption and it just set my imagination going.

And for many years it just seemed like I wasn't meant to go and the universe definitely

has its own timing on things and I speak about that in the book but so 18 years later I find myself in Uganda and through nothing short of a miracle just miraculous divine synchronicities, the things that happened.
