As always, Vegas, a great town,

great week. Unfortunately, not so great a week in the news. So let's get right to it. Obviously,

the biggest story this week has been Ben Fields, the sheriff's deputy student resource officer

in South Carolina, also known as Officer Slam. That was one of his

nicknames, so we knew it was coming. And by now, no doubt everyone's seen the horrific video of

him dragging a young black girl out of her chair and slamming her onto the floor and then basically flipped her out of the chair

onto the floor and then kind of body slammed or tossed her a few feet and how sad is it that

there's an argument of did he slam her or did he toss her it is I you know this one was hard to watch

and and I don't know what the hell it is with South Carolina

what a what a year for South Carolina from shooting a man in the back who was trying to get away

to shooting a 19 year old kid who is just trying to buy some weed mass murder at church and now this beating

in a school South Carolina. Oh, and let's not forget the Confederate flag, which they only lowered

this year. I don't know. But anyway, this, this Benfield's case, this beating of this young girl,

it's an example of what we talked about on the podcast a couple of weeks ago when I had

Ida Rodriguez and Maranzio Vance on what's going to happen of course he has been fired and and

His sheriff it's interesting the reason he was fired was actually a technicality in that when you're arresting somebody or taking somebody down

You're supposed to maintain control of the suspect

at all times. And when he actually threw her, since she was out of his hands flying through the

air, he didn't have control in that moment. So that's why he was fired. But anyway, this guy's going to
