Hi everyone, welcome to Recovery Happy Hour where we talk about life beyond the

bottle and what happens after we stop drinking.

I'm your host Trisha and my hair color currently rotates between pink and blonde,

neither of which is the natural color of hair growing out of my head.

Well I had a week, y'all.

I had a week.

I have not felt emotionally sober lately.

And if you don't know what I'm talking about with emotional sobriety,

I mean, I found myself thinking like I used to think when I was still drinking.

I'm short, I'm impatient, and every little thing that takes me off my tasks

makes me want to scream or like hit something.

The other day I was driving and something made me so mad that I just wanted to scream

as loud as I could inside the privacy of my own car just to get it out of me.

And I remembered feeling that exact same way about a month before I quit drinking

when I was literally having to scream inside of my car.

First, let me be clear about something.

None of this is making me want to go and drink alcohol.
