| 0:34.4 | The first major event of note that year was that George W. Bush left office, and we'll |
| 0:38.8 | be dealing more with his legacy as the episode goes on, but we'll start by remembering |
| 0:43.4 | him the way most liberals remember him and thought of him at the time, not as a war criminal, |
| 0:48.7 | though he was, and not even as early as a regular criminal who flouted the Fourth Amendment |
| 0:53.5 | in spite of the American citizens, though he did that too. |
| 0:56.8 | And as a sort of goofball who just embarrasses us all by not being able to talk very well. |
