Each year in January I do a retrospective episode, not of the year just gone by like everyone

else does, but of the year one decade past to bask in the fond memories and or learn from

But 2009 was an enormous year, so this is going to be an enormous show.

The first major event of note that year was that George W. Bush left office, and we'll

be dealing more with his legacy as the episode goes on, but we'll start by remembering

him the way most liberals remember him and thought of him at the time, not as a war criminal,

though he was, and not even as early as a regular criminal who flouted the Fourth Amendment

in spite of the American citizens, though he did that too.

And as a sort of goofball who just embarrasses us all by not being able to talk very well.

He'll be forever remembered for such bushes as they're called as quote, I know how hard
